Recognized with the esteemed Gold Addy and Judges' Choice, Bit-Wizards spearheaded the School Cents Makes Sense campaign, a pivotal initiative involving creating and maintaining a comprehensive digital footprint. The campaign strategically aimed to inform and engage the local community regarding the Okaloosa County School District's pressing requirements. It sought public support for a crucial referendum advocating implementing a half-cent sales tax dedicated to school improvements.
This undertaking demanded a unified effort from all team members. My specific role within this expansive project focused on adapting the desktop website design to ensure seamless functionality on mobile and tablet platforms. This involved an in-depth exploration of industry best practices for mobile site design to guarantee optimal user experience. Subsequently, I meticulously resized and repositioned the desktop site components, tailoring them specifically for mobile and tablet interfaces. Collaborating closely with our development team, I oversaw the successful implementation of these designs.
Additionally, part of my responsibilities involved providing constructive feedback on my colleagues' designs, and fostering a collaborative and cohesive approach throughout the project lifecycle.
The collective diligence and concerted efforts culminated in a significant achievement as the referendum was successfully passed, underscoring the impact of our comprehensive campaign in garnering community support for vital improvements within the Okaloosa County School District.
